The 6 Deen (important faiths) in Islam

Starting with the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The Articles of Faith in our Religion:

"Faith is that you should believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books and His Prophets; that you should believe in
the Day of Judgment and that you should believe in the Divine Laws relating to good and evil." (Tirmidhi)

The ONENESS of Allah (subhanahu-wata'llah), which means you are not to compare Him with anyone, anything, anyplace, person, place, or thing, Ever.

He is One: There is no other and there is no partner with Him.

Almighty: He has power and conrol over anything and everything in the universe.

Gracious: Can be Kind to anyone, shows courtesy, mercy, & compassion

Oft-Eternal: Is Infinity, Forever, Never-ending, Undying

Mighty: Has the Power over all,
we are hence not as mighty as Him and can not be compared.

Supreme: Has the authority, hence, He is Judge, Jury, Lawyer, and you are just the one given reward or punishment.

Forgiving: He forgives your sins if you Repent, He shows mercy if you seek mercy.

Exalted: He is the only to be worshipped

Graceful: He is the one to be given flowers to as He is ever Beautiful in our mind, body, and soul.

He is One: He is not born, or gives birth; He does not have a father, or mother; He has no children or siblings; He does not have uncles or aunts, He is the only authority in our lives.
Quran 17:23-25
23.And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour.
24.And lower to them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: ” My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young.”
25. Your Lord Knows best what is in your inner-selves. If you are righteous, then, verily, He is Ever Most Forgiving to
those who turn to Him again and again in obedience, and in repentance.

or Allah loves not transgressors (2:190)
For Allah loves not ungrateful sinners (2:276)
For Allah loves not those who do wrong (3:57)
Aor Allah loves not the arrogant, the vainglorious (4:36)

Belief in the Prophets and their prophethood

33:40 [And know, O believers, that] Muhammad is not the father of any one of your men, but is God’s Apostle and the Seal of all prophets. And God has indeed full knowledge of everything.

"Say (O Muslims): we believe in Allah and that which is revealed to us and that which was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael, and Isaac and Jacob, and their children, and that which Moses and Jesus received and that the prophets received from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them and unto Him we have surrendered." (2:136)

Belief in Qyamat (Judgement Day)

“And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; / Till death overtook us.” – quran
“And there is not one of the followers of the Book but most certainly believes in this before his death, and on the day of resurrection he (Isa) shall be a witness against them.” – quran
“Fear God and he will give you knowledge” – quran
“Believers, Jews, Sabaeans or Christians – whoever believes in God and the Last Day and does what is right – shall have nothing to fear or regret” – quran
“O you who believe! seek assistance through patience and prayer; surely Allah is with the patient. (The Cow 2.153 )” – quran
“The ink of the scholar and the blood of a martyr are of equal value in heaven.” – quran
“What God writes on your forehead you will become.” – quran
“And he enjoined on his family prayer and almsgiving, and was one in whom
his Lord was well pleased. (Marium 19.55)” – quran
We are to believe that Qiyamat will arrive, from Adam-may he be sent Afhiya (eternal blessings) all the way to the last person alive will be put on trial.

We will be accountable for all our sins and mistakes

Belief in Emaan (the Unseen)

We are to believe in Allah and have faith in Allah.

Belief in the Original Holy Scriptures and their message

We are to believe in the Almighty Creator and his message sent to His Prophets:

The Holy Scriptures of Hadhrat Ibrahim (may he be given peace)
the Zabur received by David (may he be given peace),
the Torah received by Hadhrat Musa (may he be given peace),
the Injeel received by Hadhrat Isa (may he be given peace)
the Quran received by Hadhrat Muhammad (pbuh)
May all the prophets be sent Afhiya (blessed) Aameen.

Belief in all His Farishte (angels) -
four Farishte in total

We understand and we have a belief in His Farishte, which means that we know and believe that there are such things as angels.
We believe in the two Farishte assigned to us from the time we are in our mother's womb until the time we die.
We believe that these Farishte guard us during our lifetime; we are the son of Hadrat Adam (peace be upon him) and daughter of Ya Sayyida Ya Huwa (peace be upon her) during our time on earth.
We believe that one Farishta writes down our hasanaat (good deeds), and one Farishta writes down our sayi'aat (bad deeds).

Hence, there are four Farishte,
two write hasanaat (good deeds) /saya'aat (bad deeds),
two guard and protect (from accidents and evil) us front to back.

Ibn Katheer (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: "For him (each person), there are angels in succession before and behind him. they guard him by the command of the Almighty [al-Ra'd 13:10-11] means: each person has angels who take turns in guarding him by night and day, who protect him from evil and from accidents, just as other angels take turns in recording his deeds, good and bad, by night and by day.
